My Story
When my wife certified as a life coach and started her business I decided to appoint myself as her business manager. I just finished a masters degree in business and thought this would be a fun side project, while I pursued a career in municipal administration.
I vaguely remembered a new media class I took in during my undergrad and thought it would be fun to learn how to make a website for her.
I started free trials for Square Space, Wix, Leadpages and ended up choosing Wix. I had heard of Kajabi at that point, but didn't give it a second thought because I thought it was sooooo expensive.
After 3 or 4 months she wanted to start a course. I was able to manage it in Wix but it wasn't easy, and it felt pieced together (because it was). She was making a little bit of money now so I was warming up to the idea of spending $150 a month for Kajabi.
I chuckle inside when I look back at where my thoughts were back then, thinking that $150 was so much to spend to power her business. Maybe I didn't realize how much Kajabi was going to do for her. If you're at the stage where spending $150/month on your business seems crazy to you, I'm not chuckling inside at you, I was there too and know what it's like.
Switching to Kajabi was 100% the right choice. It was easy to learn how to use, it did everything she wanted and more, I was happy. I think it only took 1 or 2 months for me to realize that $150/month was nothing compared the value we got out of Kajabi.
...I started getting really good at understanding how to use Kajabi.
...I started doing some Kajabi work for other life coaches my wife knew.
...Then I learned about Kajabi's Partner program. A program in which I could build passive recurring revenue for helping people get started in Kajabi.
That was the clincher. I decided to leave municipal administration, legitimately start my own business as a Kajabi consultant, and build a business that produces as much passive recurring revenue as I could get.
... And never looked back.
Actually I've had plenty of moments of fear and uncertainty and have looked back at the safety of employment. But where I am at now is so amazing, it doesn't take very much for me to realize how great this is for me and my family and how abundant the future is.
Kajabi was my turning point that changed my future and enables me live the life I've always wanted.
That's why I do what I do, to help people use this tool to create the life they desire, and in so doing, create my own.
