Kajabi in 5 Minutes Episode 6

Hello, and welcome to another episode of Kajabi in Five Minutes. Today, we are going to be talking about something really cool: the "Pay What You Want" offer.

Introduction to the "Pay What You Want" Offer

I think this offer is great because it's so easy to set up and it gives you the ability to collect payment for things that you might not otherwise have. You can also use it as a great way to take donations if you are offering your services for "pay what you want" instead of a fixed price. People just need to be able to pay what they want, and it's super easy to do.

Setting Up the Offer

When you're in an offer, go into the pricing screen. Right underneath the one-time payment amount, there's a little checkbox. You check it, and it says "Pay What You Want." The price then turns into a minimum, so you get to set a minimum price. People can either pay that or they can put in a different amount, and that's what you get.

It's important to know that it has to be a one-time payment option. You can't do this with any of the other options like multi-pay, subscription, or free. That is really the only requirement and the only difference between this offer and any other kind of offer. All of the settings that you might otherwise use, such as automations, products or no products, and editing the checkout, are exactly the same. The only thing you need to do is go into pricing, check the box "Pay What You Want," set the minimum, and there you have it.

Practical Uses

Personally, I think this is a fun and great offer. I mentioned a little bit about how you could use it, but here are some other options. Oftentimes, I meet with people who are interested in Kajabi, and I'll chat with them. Or maybe someone will send me an email who I've worked with before, and they'll be in a pinch. I'll send them a great email with lots of awesome directions that will fix their problem. They'll be so happy and say, "Thank you! Can I Venmo you?" Since I don't take Venmo (I'm in Canada), I tell them they can go here if they would like to give me something for my time. It's really easy to do.

Additional Tips

If you're going to use this "Pay What You Want" offer for things like I just described, you might want to consider putting a link to get Google reviews right there on the checkout page. That way, someone can go to it and, if they want, they can just click the button and give you an awesome Google review. It's super easy.

Conclusion

So that's the "Pay What You Want" offer. It's great. Explore it, use it, and have fun.
